1. What Cookies Are

Cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) are small pieces of data stored in your browser. ArchHive uses them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. This policy explains what we set and why.

2. Strictly Necessary

Required for the Platform to function — they cannot be switched off.

• Authentication (Supabase): session cookies that keep you logged in and secure your account.
• Security: per-request tokens used to protect against cross-site request forgery and to apply our content-security policy.

3. Preferences

Stored in your browser's local storage to remember your choices, such as your light/dark theme and display currency. These stay on your device and are not shared.

4. Analytics

Only after you allow optional services, we use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights to measure traffic and performance in aggregate (pages viewed, load times, approximate region). This helps us improve the Platform. Analytics data is processed by these providers under their own privacy terms.

With that consent, we also measure verified purchases, submitted resource listings and granted download access. A small queue in your browser session holds these events for up to 24 hours until you visit a public content page. It contains event identifiers and basic resource or purchase details, without file links, payment credentials or your name and email. Analytics scripts remain off on protected account and payment pages. Declining optional services clears pending events. Test and preview domains are excluded from optional analytics.

5. Advertising

With your optional consent, we use Google AdSense on free-resource download pages. Ads do not appear on paid checkout, account or support journeys. Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. 6. Managing Cookies

Use the Cookie preferences button to choose Essential only or allow optional services. Optional scripts remain off until you allow them; you may withdraw consent later. Essential-only visitors can still use free downloads. You can also clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
