Licensing Terms

1. Ownership

Sellers retain full intellectual-property rights to the work they upload. ArchHive does not claim ownership of assets. By listing an asset, the seller grants ArchHive a non-exclusive licence to host, display, preview, and distribute the files to buyers and downloaders through the Platform.

2. Creator licence

Unless a listing states otherwise, every purchase or free download grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence. You may:

• Use the asset for your own academic, learning, or professional projects.
• Modify, adapt, and incorporate the asset into your own work and presentations.
• Use renders or outputs of the asset in your portfolio.

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the original files (in whole or in part) with anyone else.
• Upload the asset to any other platform, repository, or file-sharing service.
• Claim authorship of an unmodified asset, or use it in a way that misrepresents your own academic work (see our Academic Integrity policy).
• Use the asset in a competing marketplace or asset library.

Studio licenses and named accounts

A studio license exists only where the seller explicitly offers it with a price, seat count and actual terms. The checkout records those terms for that purchase. Changing or withdrawing a future offer does not change an existing studio purchase.

The purchaser occupies one seat and may assign the remaining seats to existing named ArchHive accounts in Studio access. Only the purchaser manages assignments. A removed seat loses future downloads, including outstanding download links; removal does not erase copies already downloaded. Removed members must stop using the source files.

Client-facing outputs are allowed only if the purchased studio terms explicitly permit them. A studio license does not permit source-file handoff to clients, public file sharing, resale, redistribution or sublicensing. Seat allocation is for authorized studio work, not onward distribution. Personal purchases do not create studio seats.

3. Academic Integrity

Assets on ArchHive are intended as inspiration, references, and learning aids. Submitting purchased or downloaded work as your own original coursework may violate your institution's rules. You are solely responsible for how you use an asset in an academic context. See our Academic Integrity policy.

4. Free Resources & Knowledge Base

Free resources and knowledge-base entries (standards, byelaws, textures, reference models) are provided for personal and educational use under the same restrictions above. Some items are aggregated from third-party sources and remain the property of their original authors; where a third-party licence applies, it takes precedence. 5. Seller Warranties

By listing an asset, the seller warrants that they own or have the right to distribute it and that it does not infringe any third party's rights. Sellers indemnify ArchHive against claims arising from their uploads.

6. Termination

This licence terminates automatically if you breach its terms. ArchHive may remove an asset and revoke access in response to a valid infringement claim. Termination does not entitle you to a refund where the asset was delivered in good faith, subject to our Refund Policy.
