1. Information We Collect

When you create an account on ArchHive, we collect:

  • Account Information: Your display name, email address, and sign-in information managed by Supabase Auth.
  • Profile Information: Avatar image, biography, university, and professional headline.
  • Financial Information: Payment details are processed directly by Razorpay for customers in India and PayPal for international customers. We never store your full card number.
  • Project Data: Renders, 3D models, and architectural files you upload. You are responsible for ensuring personal metadata (e.g., EXIF data) is stripped prior to upload.
  • Usage Data: Essential security and transaction records; optional traffic and performance measurements only after consent.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and profile.
  • To process purchases and service payments through Razorpay or PayPal, and manage seller and tutor payouts.
  • To display your uploaded projects and tutor profile to other users.
  • To send you platform notifications (payment updates, messages, reviews).
  • To mediate disputes between students and tutors through our Admin panel.

3. Data Storage & Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Razorpay: For payment processing and seller identity verification (KYC).
  • PayPal: For international payment processing and transaction verification.
  • Supabase: Our authentication, database and preview-image storage provider.
  • Other Users: Your public profile name, avatar, skills, and reviews are visible on your tutor or seller profile.
  • Google Drive: Uploaded project packages are stored on Google Drive. ArchHive checks download authorization before serving protected originals. Older external links are subject to their host's privacy policy.

4. Payment & Financial Data

Payments are processed through Razorpay for customers in India and PayPal for international customers. Transaction records (amounts, dates, contract IDs) are stored in our database for dispute resolution and accounting purposes.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can request account deletion from support. We review outstanding purchases, financial records and service obligations before confirming what can be removed and when. Transaction records may be retained for legal and accounting compliance for up to 7 years.

6. Cookies

Essential cookies maintain your login session and currency preferences. With your permission, Google Analytics and Vercel measure public content, and Google advertising may load on free-resource download pages. Consented business events for verified purchases, submitted listings and granted download access may be held briefly in browser session storage and sent from a later public page, as described in our cookie policy.
